Mavala Riga Konad

There’s something about this rose design that made me avoid it. I think it just looked a little cheesy directly from the plate. I was so wrong! This almost works as a full finger plate for me, and it is just super cute on the nail! It reminds me of stained glass!

OPI Shim-merry Chic Konad

Since Christmas (and lots and lots of food) is a couple of days away, I wanted to do more of a food colored themed Konad today.  The brown kind of reminds me of gravy and the red reminds me cranberry. Yes, I already have food on my mind ;)

Nubar Baby Blue Konad

In case you have not noticed, I’m a sucker for light blues. This is another fabulous pastel blue from Nubar! I decided to do a darker chrome blue for the flowers.

NYX Paradise Konad

The flash of gold with NYX Paradise is so much fun! I’m not sure what exactly inspired this combo, but I wanted something that really stuck out, so I picked Misa Fatal Affair (yes, Fatal Affair worked with ‘nad!)

China Glaze Electic Lilac Fauxnad

China Glaze does it again with their glitter collection! I just love the color of this; it’s mostly purple, but sometimes it looks blurple because of the glitter. I adore this color! I added contrasting color to give the flowers a little perk. Far from fall, but who cares?

Happy Thanksgiving!

This is not the most festive Thanksgiving ‘nad. I wanted to pull away from the tradition! It’s more like a fall-floral! I honestly can’t say that I love this brown. The microshimmer that it supposedly has is very very subtle, which bummed me out :(

MAC Tilt Fauxnad

This color has been in my nail polish collection for a long time (maybe approaching 10 years now?) I never wore it for some reason… until now. It’s a unique color, but I’m not sure whether I like it all that much. I added some fun Hawaiian styled fauxnad on it just to put a little pep in it ;)

Milani Whimsical Fauxnad

Here’s another one from Milani’s Halloween Collection. I’m loving this collection more and more because it’s back, but you can still see the purple in it. This one is particularly nice matted!

Milani Fairy Tale Fauxnad

Since Halloween is coming around, I’m going to focus the next few colors on blackened/vampy colors then come up with some Halloween mani (don’t get your hopes up though), and of course the entries from the Konad Kontest from the beginning of the month. I don’t have access to any Milanis, so I was very grateful when my friend Liz got a couple Milanis from their Halloween collection. Fairy Tale is one of them: but I added Creative Nail Design’s Ice Blue Shimmer from their effects collection. It basically turned the black to a vampy blue. VERY pretty!

Of course I had to mattify this one just to see how it would look like ;)

Sasse’s First Matte ‘Nad

Since this came out in the beginning of the month, I have been looking forward to this ‘nad! I just got this in the mail today so I was very exctied to do a cool ‘nad with it!

Tip of the day: If you’re useing essie’s Matte About You with ‘nadding, make sure you go over the nail once and go over faster than normal topcoat. As you can see from my photo, there were a slight smudge on a couple of the nails. Make sure you go fast and don’t go over your ‘nad design twice!
