Misa Candy Girl Konad

Here’s another duochrome with matte experiment that I figured it would be worth trying. I made that Konad subtle because I wanted to see the colors duochrome show.

DrFrankenPolish Last Shuttle To Pluto Konad

It’s hard to find nice duochromes. DrFrankenPolish makes them so well (BTW, those of you that follow her blog, she’s back)! I had a really tough time capturing this duochrome. It’s so cool though: shifts from blue to purple! I added a Funky French on it

Sorry about the dark lighting… it was difficult to capture this lovely. Pictures don’t do justice!

Her frankening talent never ceases to amaze me!

By the way, Zoya Rea works with ‘nad! :)

Sally Hansen Turquoise Opal Coraline Konad

The Coraline Scottish Terrier design is one of my all time favorite Konad designs. I think that I’m going to do the next one with the Houndstooth under it and see how trippy that will look. Anyway, I did some duochrome action this time!

Duochrome Layering Konad (Sally Hansen Turquoise Opal over China Glaze OMG!)

The duochromeness continues! This is probably one of the coolest layering combos/duochromes I’ve ever worn. I added 2 coats of Sally Hansen Turqouise Opal on top of 2 coats of China Glaze OMG! The results were astounding!

Then I added a little Funky French on it:

Tip of the day: try layering a sheer duochrome over holographic finished polishes! The results will amaze you!

Creative Nail Design Tart-A-Licious Konad

Sometimes it’s difficult to choose what color to ‘nad over a duochrome, and sometimes I even tell myself not to because it’ll distract from the duochrome. I figured I would ‘nad over Tart-A-Licious just to see what it will be like:

Tip of the day: When trying to ‘nad over a duochrome, try to use dainty designs so that it accents (not distracts) a duochrome color!
